What is Unprepared Casters?

Unprepared Casters started out as a Dungeons and Dragons actual play podcast. It is an actual play show where the hosts bring on a rotating cast of guests to explore D&D and other tabletop roleplaying games in each story arc.

How long is each arc of Unprepared Casters?

We want to make sure you can enjoy Unprepared Casters in bite-size story arcs. Each main arc is typically 6-8 episodes long. In between, you can also find 3-4 episode mini-series and one shot episodes. The stories aren’t in any particular order, so feel free to drop in at the newest arc and listen in whatever order you like!

When do new podcast episodes release?

Episodes go live at 8am on Mondays! We take a nap the last Monday of each month, so there are no new eps then. You can generally find new episodes wherever you find your podcasts, but we sometimes release video episodes on our YouTube Channel. All episodes are always available on our Patreon.

What game systems are used in the show?

While Unprepared Casters started with D&D 5e, we’ve branched out into other systems like Starfinder, City of Mist, Blades in the Dark, Godkiller, and more! If you have a game you’d like to see us play on the show, contact us!
